Our dancing world

On Friday 15 January it was a white world here:

On Saturday 16th it thawed and flooded.

And revealed this magic that had been pushing up under a thick blanket of snow:

And on Sunday the floods disappeared, the sun shone and the fields are green.

It is very heartening to remember that things do change, nothing is permanent, and that the dance of life flows on carrying it with us - whether we want to move or not... So I might as well loosen up, be flexible and keep my heart open to all possibilities.

Come dance with me!

Happy New Year

  • This was passed on to me by Lyn and much enjoyed - especially as a person who has more pairs of specs than you can shake an eyetest chart at. And what an interesting revelation about how telling the truth can lead to good things. (If you want to look at it that way!). Keep up the writing. I have just started again - a kind of diary - after a 30 year gap.

  • Your blog was passed to me by Lyn with a recommendation to read the Specsavers bit which I much enjoyed, having more pairs of glasses than you can shake an eyetest card at. And amazing how your bit of truth had a positive outcome. A lesson for all of us there, methinks. I have recently started writing again - a sort of diary - after a 30 year gap.
